I joined greenpeace because I just love nature, and I want to protect it in every possible way I can. I've also been active in local nature conservation organisations for the same reason, the difference is that greenpeace is dealing with environmental problems on a much larger scale. What I like about greenpeace is that it gives me the opportunity to do something against these problems, and doing it in a way I really
enjoy; I feel like I'm just made for climbing high buildings, paddling with a canoe in front of a 200 m ship, and stuff like that :-)
And the last aspect is the social contact: I'm meeting a lot of activists with the same ideas and interrests.
